Artist’s and art consultant Founder of Benevolent Acorn and successful artist/painter for many years, Jan’s passion for photography reignited as she documented her lush garden project in Los Angeles from a developed sense of the canvas and composition she utilized her painters perspective. The garden itself had became part of the medium for the photographs; to not only document the garden but as a further expression bringing one up close she strives for that oneness between the smell of a flower and the squish of earth in hand.
